The Low Buck Truck cam is the most popular cam we offer. It offers gains of 60+ hp over the stock 4.8L or 5.3L stock cams. The Low Buck Truck cam is perfect for daily driver and works with a stock converter, but a higher stall will definitely improve performance. This cam requires .550-lift springs, and can be run with stock LS3/LS6 springs or after market 550-lift springs (avail soon). The cam requires a tune. This Low Buck Truck cam has been extensively dyno tested and has been run successfully NA, with every type of blower (centrifugal, roots and twin screw) and with a Turbo. It works very well under boost.

BTR's .560" lift LS6-style valve springs gives you all of the performance of the venerable OEM LS6 valve spring (GM part # 12499224 or 12586484) at a fraction of the cost. These springs pair perfectly with our Low Buck Truck (or other 550-lift) cams. They are also a great option for replacing worn out or broken springs in stock applications. Specs are below. These spring utilize the stock retainers and keeper-making them easy to install.
