The Low Buck Truck cam is the most popular cam we offer. It offers gains of 60+ hp over the 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L stock cams. The Low Buck Truck cam is perfect for daily driver and works with a stock converter, but a higher stall will improve performance. This cam requires .550-lift springs and can be run with stock LS3/LS6 springs or aftermarket 550-lift springs. The cam requires a tune. This Low Buck Truck cam has been extensively dyno tested and has been run successfully NA, with every type of blower (centrifugal, roots and twin screw) and with a Turbo. It works very well under boost.
The Low Buck Truck also makes an amazing TURBO cam. The low-speed torque offered by the Low Buck Truck makes for awesome boost response, and you can easily exceed 1000 hp with a Low Buck Truck with the right turbo. On this test, we ran a junkyard L33 5.3L with the Low Buck Truck cam and springs package, then added a single S475 Borg turbo. The NA motor made 422 hp (adding 60+ hp over stock), then made 620+ hp at 7.5 psi, then 920+ hp at 17 psi. This cam (like most) works very well with boost!

Not in the car yet, but packed very well!! Quick service, fast shipping!!
Waited a month for it to be off back order. Got it and installed it in the truck last weekend (March 22nd). Waiting for some other parts to come in and getting my computer back from a base tune so I can start it. (Bigger injectors and new intake). Very excited to see how it sounds and what the gains will be on my LQ4.
All my ls powered vehicles are cammed. One has a Texas speed, another summit racing and a fox body with this cam. Looked good, installed as it should.
