The Low Buck Truck cam is the most popular cam we offer. It offers gains of 60+ hp over the stock 4.8L or 5.3L stock cams. The Low Buck Truck cam is perfect for daily driver and works with a stock converter, but a higher stall will definitely improve performance. This cam requires .550-lift springs, and can be run with stock LS3/LS6 springs or after market 550-lift springs. The cam requires a tune. This Low Buck Truck cam has been extensively dyno tested and has been run successfully NA, with every type of blower (centrifugal, roots and twin screw) and with a Turbo. It works very well under boost.

Tried the low buck truck cam in a budget 6.0 Silverado I did. I had a 2800 stall converter, but I think it would’ve liked even more. But the drivability was great, just like a stock truck. Chopped really nice and made good power. Check my YouTube channel for sound clips. Richard holdener is the man

Installed in a 2013 Silverado 5.3 with springs and lifters from Richard as well . Camshaft runs out good and gave no issues while getting the tune dialed in. Highly recommended

I put the low buck truck cam and matching springs in a stock lm7, tbss intake, 36# flex fuel injectors with long tubes and 3" exhaust. This thing rips in my 5 speed obs chevy! As seen at Duct tape drags!
